Internally Displaced Women Showcase Their Talent and Resilience for International Women’s Day 2026
In commemoration of International Women’s Day 2026, women supported by Belosy Africa proudly showcased and sold a variety of handcrafted products during a community sales event organized by the Subdivisional Delegation of Women’s Empowerment and the Family Douala IV.
The event provided an important platform for internally displaced women (IDPs) to display their creativity, skills, and entrepreneurial spirit. From handmade accessories to practical household items, the products reflected not only talent but also the determination of women who are rebuilding their lives after displacement.
Beyond the sales, the event created a space for the women to share their stories and connect with the community. Visitors had the opportunity to support their work while learning more about the resilience and strength behind each product.
"For many of these women, initiatives like this represent more than economic opportunity—they symbolize dignity, independence, and renewed hope."
At Belosy Africa, empowering displaced women through skills development and market access remains central to our mission. By supporting their businesses and amplifying their voices, we continue working toward a future where every woman has the opportunity to thrive.
