Empowerment in Action: Training Kicks Off for 50 Displaced Persons in Douala IV
By Belosy Africa | February 2026
Training for 50 internally displaced persons has kicked off on 19th February 2026 in Douala, Bonaberi, at the Subdivisional delegation of Women’s Empowerment and Family in Douala IV Council, with the selected beneficiaries.
This training marks the third phase of support from Fondation setec and is implemented by the AECAC incubator in partnership with Belosy Africa, ROBOGA, and Nature’s Gift.
The training to empower and upskill women and girls focuses on financial education, practical soap-making training programs, management of small businesses, and mental health support.
Alongside these core areas, the program provides other practical skills designed to promote sustainable income and long-term stability. Through this joint effort, we are strengthening resilience, restoring dignity, and advancing economic independence for displaced women.
